Check-in

When you check in please present your booking confirmation, a valid identity card or passport and a credit card or other means of payment (see "Payment methods").
The price of the rooms does not include "taxe de séjour", a tourist tax charged by the local authority. The daily amount payable per room is €2.00

Check-in available from: 3 pm
We guarantee access to rooms from 3pm.
If you arrive early, you can leave your bags in our luggage store until your room is ready.

At check-in time, a deposit of 50€ per room will be asked for extras

Check-out

Check-out required by: 11am
If you are checking out we will ask you to vacate your room by 11am.
Late check out until 3:00 p.m. for a supplement of 20 €.
After you have checked out we will be more than happy for you to leave your bags in our luggage store, so that you can make the most of your day and will not have to lug your bags round with you.

SMOKING POLICY

The Van Belle is 100% smoke free. If you smoke in your room, a cleaning fee of €150 will be charged.

Bookings and cancellation policy

Individual booking: from 1 to 4 rooms
All bookings must be guaranteed with a valid credit card which does not expire until after the date of departure. The Hotel Van Belle cannot accept bookings which are not guaranteed with a credit card.

Flexible rate:
Your credit card WILL NOT be debited for flexible rate bookings. The Hotel Van Belle just asks for your card details to guarantee the booking. THE TOTAL PAYMENT WILL ONLY BE DEDUCTED WHEN YOU ARRIVE at the hotel.
If you want to cancel or change your booking, please let us know at least 1 day before you arrive, before 1 pm (local time, GMT+1).
If you cancel late or don’t show up, the full cost of the first night will be charged to the credit card which you have given us the details for by way of a guarantee.

 
Non-refundable rate:
If you choose the "non-refundable" rate, your credit card will be debited when you make your booking. "Non-refundable" bookings cannot be cancelled, exchanged or refunded.
Some debit cards (Maestro, Visa Electron, V Pay) cannot be used for non-refundable bookings.

PAYMENT METHODS

We accept various payment methods:

Cash


Debit card (Maestro, Visa Electron, V Pay),

Credit card (Visa, Eurocard/Mastercard, American Express, Diners)
We can accept payment by credit card if the card holder is staying at the hotel. If this is not the case, we will require a fax or email from the card-holder, authorising us to debit the total amount payable for the stay. A photocopy of the card-holder’s national identity card or the photograph page of his/her passport and a photocopy of both sides of his/her credit card must be attached to this confirmation.

Bank transfer
Please carry out the bank transfer at least 8 working days before your date of arrival at the hotel, specifying your name, date of arrival and booking reference. The customer is responsible for all bank charges.

Internet access

Free WiFi access with limited download speed, throughout the hotel.
We offer high speed WiFi access for €5 per 24 hours.

Car-parking

You are welcome to use the hotel’s basement car-park. We charge €15 per night (valid price from the arrival of the client until 11am the day of departure).
If the client wishes to stay until 18:00, a supplement of 7,50 € will be asked to the customer. We have a limited number of spaces available and so we recommend that you let us know if you would like us to reserve a space for you when you book your room.

Small pets

Pets are not allowed.

Interconnecting rooms

The Hotel Van Belle has a number of interconnecting rooms. They are ideal for families and friends. If you would like this sort of room then please let us know when making your booking.

Children, cots and fold-up beds

We can provide you with a cot (for children aged 2 and under) free of charge in double rooms and twin rooms. We cannot provide cots in other types of room, i.e. small double rooms, single rooms and triple rooms.

We can provide you with an extra fold-up bed in double rooms and twin rooms, for children aged 10 and under, for €15 a night.

To ensure that we have a fold-up bed or cot available, we recommend that you let us know you will be needing one when making your booking.
Children aged 11 and over count as adults.
